
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English actress, media personality, and singer. She has been a judge in Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent show since 2007. On weekdays she hosts Heart Breakfast radio with Jamie Theakston. Holden was raised in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her childhood living in Bishop's Waltham. When she was nine she was accepted into the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also on TV in three series of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She also was a participant in three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" which starred Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she appeared alongside Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay, and Aleha Dixon. Holden is an judge on Britain's Got Talent along with Simon Cowell, David Walliams, and Alesha Dixon. She was a judge on Britain's Got Talent between 2006 to 2006.
